Logik toastie maker
I bought this toastie maker after finally throwing out my 20 old one as it had become too difficult to clean. This toastie maker has non stick plates however there's a small gap at the side so cheese got stuck on the first use and l've not been able to clean it out as the space is so narrow. Awful, terrible and a complete waste of money
Absolutely awful product I've complained about this item on numerous occasions but with no joy,, Currys apparently cannot find my order number on their system..it constantly leaked the filling out and it wasn't over filled I'm not stupid and know how to use a sandwich maker and then there was the odd overheating/burning smell when it was switched on awful absolutely awful and again no help or response whatsoever from Currys....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wouldn't recommend, doesn't properly do job it was intended for.
Very disappointed with this product. Had sandwich toasters in past and when I saw this on offer thought I'd try another. So my issue's with it are, it takes quite a while to heat up. It's got lots of slots and gaps and screws that get easily filled with any melted food and bits of bread so difficult to clean other than the heating plates themselves. But the biggest issue is that it really doesn't allow for you to have 2 slices of thin sliced bread and a small amount of filling and be able to easily close the toaster! So I have to use something (wooden or plastic) to help keep and hold down the edges of top slice of bread nearest the hinge as it closes so that the top slice doesn't just get moved/pushed out the way by the top plate as it is closed, exposing the filling. Even then you can only just get the locking clip closed, one's in the past I've used may have struggled with thicker sliced bread, but not just standard thin sliced, what do they expect you to use. Poorly designed! It might be a good price, but I think it's more hassle than it's worth. The 3 stars really are for, the quick delivery, it looks nice, the price, it's compact (the reasons for me buying it) and once you eventually get sandwich in, it does toast evenly and quickly. But I wouldn't recommend and would advice spending that bit more for one that avoids these problems.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tripped our electrics 2 or 3 times during first usage. Now in the bin!
Upon first use, manged to make two toasties then we thought we'd had a power cut as our ground floor electrics tripped. Following re-setting the fuse box, plugged it back in to make another set of toasties and immediately the electronics all tripped out again. Tried it in a different plug socket but for a third time, all the electrics tripped so threw it in the bin! On the plus side, didn't have to clean it!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Look at others before buying!
I don’t normally leave reviews but having received this it’s a little underwhelming and small. It’s not good at all for any form of deep fill toasty. I have to agree with other reviews....it doesn’t fit “normal” sized bread and need to use smaller sized bread. Having used it there was cheese spilling all over the sides and makes it quite messy and awkward to clean. My verdict is to look around first at other options or spend a few quid more and get something a little more useful and easy to clean. You buy cheap you end up buying twice!!!

Beware you get what you pay for.
This sandwich toaster looks very nice and toasts your sandwiches well however beware as it’s badly built and designed. The grill pans are so shallow that you can only put thin bead and a small amount of filling in your sandwiches. If you do cheese it leeks out at the sides and goes down a gap at the sides under the grill pan making it a nightmare to clean. I had my toasty for a month and used it about 10 times and on my last time trying to make a toasty it burst apart exposing the wires. I have now sent this toaster back as defective.

A really good buy, with ease of use.
Used to have a sandwich toaster in the past but it went out of favour and eventually got thrown away. Saw the ad for this one and couldn't believe the price. Yep definitly a sanwhich maker thats great for the pocket
ok this does come with a non stick serfices on the plates it also allowes you remove the hot plates but just like the other sanwich makers the common problem is if you put the bread in to the maker and it has a good ammount of filling then the problem is the hinge at the back of the maker is so tight to the fitting that there is no real room for the maker to close easily this understanding could be fixed with an adjustable hinge a simple button at the back that allowes for the maker s hinge to ither be a small and tight hinge or one that has a more open hinge the simalar idear was applied to the george forman setup but that is a grill and not so much a sanwich maker where as for the newer consept a hing that is adjustable from its fixings will allowe for both larger bread as in the thicker bread and the thinner bread and even the fully filled bread sanwiches a simple idear not the same as other units like the george forman one but differant enough to allowe for differant sanwiches if this was applied to the units then they would be alot better this one is standard by the way so cheese falls out of the back and the sanwichs can only realy be made with small thin bread and not alot of filling but say la vie none the less it makes for a nice slim sanwich that hits the sopt and its cheap for the price and its delivered quick and yep with a bit of work you can clean it so plenty of pluses but could do with some improvements lolVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
