Small footprint and quiet. A good purchase. Tricky to set up (but probably no worse than most)
Printers seem to have become increasingly complicated to set up. and some of the nomenclature in menu screens is obscure (e.g. 'Bonjour' setting??!!). I doubt this Canon printer is any worse than any other in this regard. The print quality seems good, and the footprint is as small as it could be for an A4 printer. There are some oddities - in particular the fact that the display screen has to be manually lifted to make the printer respond (this is to ensure that the printed paper is not blocked - a change from my previous Canon which had an automatic pop-up feature to clear the way for emerging paper. Ink cartridges seem small, and they are not cheap, but overall I am happy with this purchase which suits my fairly low throughput in a home office.
