Easy to use
My steam generator iron was sticking to everything due to other users burning everything they iron. I bought this and I'm really impressed with it. Stick the iron on to hot. Squeeze a small amount onto a tea towel or old cloth. Now carefully, polish the sole plate of the iron. Mine took 4 attempts before it came back to like new. Just remember the iron is hot and the cloth will get hot too. After every scrub, let the steam out of the iron to clean the jets. Fantastic stuff
Really didn't think my iron could be saved as I have tried all sorts of stuff. However this worked a treat. Easy to use too. I do recommend that you use this tho next to open back door or well ventilated areas as it did give off quite a bit of smoke ( my iron was bad tho after my son ironed over the printed pattern on his t shirt). I think this is one of the best iron soleplate cleaners out there. Very easy to use and brings up the soleplate like new. Once the iron was hot I applied this and rubbed it in circles using an old thick flannel. The almost cement-like residue that had been causing problems for months was quickly removed. All that is left is a very faint discolouration. All of the soleplate feels smooth again.
