Low vacuum pressure only.
I bought this gauge to check vacuum pressure on a diesel engines vacuum pump after doing some googling regarding the fault on my car . I had read others suggested 27 hG mercury was good. The gauge goes to 30 hG so I thought that this would be ideal. When connected it went to 30hG and then round to positive 10 PSI , at this point it was broken. Very poor quality and not reading correctly.
This gauge was delivered out of zero i.e. it was reading a pressure even when not connected. It probably was not calibrated either. Highly un reliable for taking pressure readings. Unable to adjust zero setting and unable to calibrate.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
