Did the job.
Car was starting in the morning and cutting out after 3 or 5 seconds. Blind guess, changed the diesel filter first because it was the cheapest option. Car runs perfectly now. Recent work on the diesel return lines must have dislodged dirt and blocked the filter which must be 4 years old. Not a moment too soon.
