I love Gabor and his commpassionate, deep thinking and insightful observations. This is not a book for someone who wants a quick read packed with black and white explanations and large scale studies about the origins of disease. This is a lot of case examples reviewing his many years of experience and he illustrates how certain behaviour patterns, life stresses/trauma and character traits seem to repeatedly result in some very serious health issues. I found it compelling, illuminating and concerning in many ways. It has definitely led me to thinking more carefully about not sidelining my own emotional needs!
