A good machine when you get used to it, at the price I paid I'm more than satisfied.
First off I'd like to say that this has replaced a Delonghi Esam Bean to cup machine that was having issues (again) and heading towards its end of days. I have to say that I was also a bit fed up of spending 5 mins steaming milk for myself and her indoors as the steamer was never the best for speed. So to this new machine, having not used a manual espresso for a fair while I was initially a bit disappointed but that was largely down to using a KG79 grinder which is not good for a decent espresso grind and being out of practice with the skill of tamping (30lbs of pressure etc) and such. After a week of use and the addition of the excellent budget Krups GVX2 grinder which is good for fine grinds I have hit the sweet spot, my wife is happy with her ridiculously strong Latte Macchiato and my Cappuccinos are perfect. It's a very good machine and I love the auto milk frother. Sorry for droning on but I wanted to give some background so you know it's not my first machine and a bit of advice about grinders too. Overall it's a decent machine when you get used to it and the milk frother is a great time and boredom saver.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
