Almost 5 stars, but, sounds great!
I own an ultimate Ears speaker that I bought at retail price and wanted a second to link together in party mode. I purchased this Hyperboom well below retail price knowing it was a refurbished unit. I took a change. Other than sometimes the speaker does not turn on right away when you press the power button, if you use the APP it always turns on. Once it is on, sounds just the same as the unit I bought brand new and linking the two speakers together in party mode sounds outstanding!Verified purchase: Yes

Anticipation
This is just a few words of hope that I purchased the better of the two options I was recently looking into? My options were this Ultimate Ears Hyperboom or JBL's Boombox 2 which, was, roughly, the same price but, sound wise was nowhere near as impressive as the Hyperboom. So, I'm just crossing my fingers and praying that I made the correct choice in the long haul? After I've received the Hyperboom and given it it's trial run, I'll come back with a more, in depth, review on how it handles my type of music, "Speed & Death Metal" it'll be a damn good time either way it goes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome sound low volume or max!
Well good value it costs a lot but it’s I guess worth it it is incredible sound! N the distance that it stays connected is like 100-126 maybe more.So I liked it so much I bought another one and WOW it plays in stereo mode if you want just awesome!!
