  • Good and easy to use

Bought this oil extractor to change oil in my Jaguar xe diesel. Quality of extractor is good. Suck the oil in about 20 - 25 min, 6 litre. Only negative comment is that extensions probes are not to long and in my case didn't reach bottom of the sump. I bought some 8mm OD x 6 mm ID nylon tube and joined with main probe, now everything ok. Little bit expensive for a plastic can but work well and no mess, worth having especially if oil filter can be accessed from top of engine so no need to go under car.

  • sealey oil syphon TP69

Brilliant product so easy to use should of got one years ago ! I highly recommend this produced ! it saves time and mess ! just one thing have a rag to hand when you take out the tubes or you will have oil dripping out of the ends !

  • Sealy TP69... should've bought one years ago!

Used this oil extractor for the first time today. Very pleased with it! To say it was a breeze to use is an understatement, couldn't of been easier to suck out the oil from my Audi A3 1.6 TDI engine. The larger of the two supplied pipes fitted down the dipstick tube nicely. With the engine oil nice and warm, 4 litres was extracted within 5 minutes! I must admit I was expecting a longer wait! But no, I watched the TP69 quickly fill up with dirty black engine oil until it started to suck air. Job done. The only negative I have is the cost of these extractors in general. I personally think they're quite pricey for what they are, although this TP69 looks/feels like a decent quality bit of kit and will hopefully last for many more oil changes in the future. All in all though, I wish I'd bought one years ago. No more crawling around under a car for me. Thank you Sealy!

  • Useful tool

This is a great tool for the home mechanic. It’s enabled me to change the oil in my BMW without getting the car up on axle stands and getting underneath. So much less stressful and pretty hassle free. My only criticisms are minor. 1) There’s no way to clean the device or the tubes after use, so expect some oil dribble. 2) The hoses aren’t the best quality and the main tube came away from the valve after the first use, but slides on and off quite easily. Overall, a great addition to your tool kit.

  • Invaluable

EXCELLANT..not cheap but like all such things cheap don’t always mean its good. This is acwell made sturdy tool which safes time and all that mucking about trying to undo drain plugs etc.Just put the relevant tube in the filler opening, pump the handle and it sucks the oil out...job done..!! No mess no decanting from container to waste just pour the oil from the unit into the waste container at the local dump. Also great for extracting any other fluids from where ever you need to ....top bit of kit.

  • Easy

Watched a few You Tube videos, put the larger of the 2 tubes down the dipstick of a warmed Golf TDI and with 5 or 6 pumps of the handle the oil was out before I’d got the filter changed. By volume, it got all of the oil out. Solid and easy to use.

  • Excellent

Super item. Works as expected and is good quality, already used it twice. Reasonable value too. Oil definitely needs warming before extraction though as its incredibly slow to remove cold oil.
