Perfect for its Intended Use
I purchased this lens for my R6 setup specifically for travel meeting my need for a lighter, more compact, flexible “kit”. This now accompanies my “nifty fifty” or one of my other small primes. Image quality is very good - but don’t expect “L glass” results. Given the focal range, speed, and cost there are compromises. Many of which can be accommodated for in-camera or in post. Fits the bill
This is a great "Walk Around" lens for my new camera. It's VERY quiet and so far, seems to be fairly sharp. So far so good, anyway. I Will find out more as I get out to use it for longer periods of time and in a much wider variety of lighting situations. My new go to...
Best all-around lens that I have owned. I bought this lens for my new R6 and I prmarly use it while hiking. With this lens I do not have to do a lot of rotating lenses to get the right shot. It works well for a lot of different scenerios. I would deffietely sugest this lens for those days that you are going shooting and are not looking to shoot and one specific thing. The best lens and almost the only one you will use

Lens Intermittently Fails the aperature.
