Good, but replacement batteries very difficult to source
This mower performs well, is light to manoevre and quite easy to put together. The battery lasts for around 40 minutes, which is adequate for a small to medium sized lawn. I got a good deal on this machine, but there is a reason for this. A newer version has been produced with a 40cm cut. For some reason (known only to Spear & Jackson) the battery for this newer mower is NOT compatible with the older 37cm unit. Perhaps I should have done more research before purchase, as the correct battery is now almost unobtainable. I will probably have to dispose of this perfectly good mower once the battery fails to hold a charge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Excellent value.
I was surprised how much better this mower is than the petrol one it replaces. It is much lighter, easier to start, also very good value. It a refurbished secondhand one but it looks like new.
