    The Buzz fly catcher

Good product. Leave it alone & away from your house though, because it smells vile! Does the job though! After 2/3 days watch it start filling up! Has mainly attracted wasps for me but also plenty of flies too. Good buy!

    Piece of junk

No wonder this one sells for around £5 each and the refillable ones are now selling for £20-£25 each. I bought four of the refillable versions and used 2 of them and gave 2 away. The refillable ones were much cheaper a few months ago and now have gone crazy with the prices shooting way too high for what they are. The refillable ones are excellent though and I have easily caught and disposed of 30,000 flies from 2 bottles in less than a month. The powder you put in the refillable ones smells horrendous which is why it catches so many flies. It kept the flies away from my house which was fantastic. With the refillable one it has a screw on sturdy top so you don't have to hang it for it to work. Now the disposable ones have to be hung in order for it to work or the flies can't get in. They also don't have this powder you mix with water inside to attract the flies they have a sort of teabag inside and when you add water it doesn't smell of anything and I am assuming it's got sugar or something inside instead of the chemical used in the refillable ones that smells like dead rats or something. The disposable ones don't work hardly at all. I bought 4 disposable ones and filled them up but after 2 weeks they all have about 7-10 flies in them and one has a wasp also. Meanwhile I have had to empty my refillable ones 5 times in 2 weeks and I am talking like may be a thousand flies out of each one each time I empty it and the smell is enough to make anyone throw up. So in a nutshell these disposable ones are absolute junk you may as well cut the top off a plastic water bottle fit the top upside down inside the bottle and crack an egg inside and wait for it to go rotten and then add water. I have even bought refills for my refillable ones and one pack of three refills is nearly £5 so just shows you they must of made a duff batch with the disposable ones and are trying to get rid cheap!!

  • Great priduct

Had many of this type over the years and although it can only be used outside i have found them the best product of catching flies.

  • Amazing, but hold your nose...

This fly catcher is absolutely amazing! I'm not sure if we had more flies this year or if more came around by virtue of the fact that we had these out, but either way, they really do the trick! For those of you who are squeamish, you may not want to look (or smell) too closely! I only wish you could get them again as they now seem to be sold out everywhere!

  • Not recommended

This has a really foul smell that is really strong and seems to attract the fly's from all over the neighbourhood, it was full after about 4 days and needed to be thrown away, we have a few fly's that are annoying but this attracts more. you cannot put it anywhere near where you sit because it attracts the fly's to it.
