NOCO Genius G7200...now a critical addition to my tool box
I was skeptical of the NOCO Genius G7200 and was leaning towards another brand. When the other brand wasn't immediately available, I decided to take a chance on the NOCO. I'm glad I did. The NOCO Genius G7200 is a critical addition to my tool box! It was larger than I expected, solid built, quality construction, and works flawlessly. I've had the opportunity to use it on multiple battery types including both 12V and 24V applications. It quickly senses the battery type and automatically selects the best charging option for that battery type. I intentionally changed the settings to the wrong battery type and it corrected my misconfiguration. This is one smart little unit. Easy to use with built-in idiot proof protection. Fast safe charging with many different functions for different types of batteries. NOCO G7200 Chatger
Noco makes great products (chargers and jump start units). I had a G3500 and was impressed with it. I decided I needed more current for my truck and tractor, so purchased the G7200. It has been a great charger. There is a minimum voltage on the battery before the charger can charge. This is typical with the newer / modern chargers. High Quality
Bought the unit to recondition the batteries on my Golf cart. A friend suggested it to me he had one and like it. The batteries on my cart where 10 years old and would have to be replaced at a cost of over $700.00. I bought the Charger/reconditioner to give it a try. It seemed to work very well at reconditioning tem as the cart is running great as of now. That was a nice savings for me, I would rather spend a little over a Hundred Dollars than the above amount. Also, provides a 12 volt power source for your vehicle while you change a battery so all of you preset radio channels remain as is. Latest Technology In Battery Chargers
I have experience with the NOCO brand of battery chargers as I own a NOCO G4 4 bank smart charger. I purchased the NOCO G7200 because it has a higher output for charging 12 volt car, truck, boat, and tractor batteries. My experience has been nothing but positive with these chargers. Good for 24 volt system
I'm using this to charge a 24v military humvee system. It is 2 12 volt batteries, so this will also work to rehab those batteries if I disconnect them. The only thing this is lacking is the ability to jump start a battery. I've started using some little lithium jump packs, so it isn't a big deal.
