Denali Soundbomb Mini
After experiencing several near misses with cars out on the road, I decided that I needed a much loader horn on my XSR 900. The Denali Soundbomb Mini looked just the ticket so I purchased one to replace the stock horn on the bike. The new unit was pretty easy to install, using the existing connections from the stock horn. The sound increase is pretty substantial and sounds much more like a regular car horn now. My only slight gripe is that although it is described as mini, it's actually a fair bit bigger than the stock unit and so it is tricky to find enough space on the bike to install. On some bikes, you may need to create your own bracket for a good fit. Overall though, a great bit of kit which should last a good few years.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Deeper but not much louder.
Deeper tone than my original horn but not noticeably louder. Also more bulky so struggled to fit it in the original location on my 1250 Bandit. Ended up keeping the original horn and fitting the Denali one elsewhere in addition using a relay from Halfords, which made a big difference with both working.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No more toot toot.
Now when I hit the horn button because Mr or Mrs Myopic need waking up I have a horn that shouts Oi rather than toots excuse me. The Denali also seems well built and solid, not like the cheap and nasty stuff from you know where that litters eBay. Very loud horn,I mean very loud.

High hopes
Had high hopes for this product, as described as plug and play, direct replacement for original equipment. Using original wiring, sounded quieter than the original. Sorted now, had to add a relay and wiring back to battery, fairly easy to do, but not what I had expected, and if I had known this I may have looked at other options. A very small, neat and powerful little horn. Much better than the factory fit option. Given four stars instead of five because on a V-Strom 650 it isn't quite such an easy fit as implied. Not a bad Honky
An improvement on the standard horn which could barely be heard with the bike running with helmet & ear plugs. The sound bomb can be heard loud and clear with a proper horn sound rather than a squeaky buzz. The advantage is that it is a direct replacement and no relay is required. Nothing says GET OUT OF MY WAY! or EXCUSE ME - I AM HERE YA'KNOW! than this horn right here! Such a easy setup it's unreal! Unscrew one nut. Take off 2 x wires. Take of old horn. Put on new horn. Put back on 2 x wires. Screw nut back on. BOOM. JOB DONE. On 'few' occasions I've needed to use THE horn, even I've pooped my pants at just how loud this is!
