Good peice of Kit, well built
Good peice of kit, well built and upto now only used on 2 tyres(caravan and transit van) but did the job well. I like the way it connects to valve, my previous pump used a lever type connection which was a pain(lost half the pressure trying to disconnect it). This one screws onto and off the valve much easier. The displays are bright/clear to read and the progress bar is a nice touch. I cant say what the battery life is like as have only done 2 tyres but it should be good and li-ion batteries hold charge well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not happy

Manually inflating tyres can be hard work. If you have the batteries this is not
Sometimes you tyre of the exercise you get from pumping up the things . This doesn’t. Monsters bicycle and wheelbarrow tyres . Very good at car sizes. Takes a bit longer on Transit van sized stuff . Haven’t got a lorry so don’t know . Even the little batteries you get with the low end drills will power it . Does what it says on the box
A very expensive unit compared to other makes but as I have the battery's I had less choice. very easy to use, accurate and compact. The fitting to the schrader valve I would prefer a snap on or clip on as with that common fitting some air is lost when you disconnect. adaptors are availableVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant
A good portable air compressor, yes it is pricey compared to other products but you get what you pay for. You have the option of using the car battery to power this if you don't have your drill or tool battery available. I use the newer 3ah batteries with the 21700 cells and even after several uses and having to blow up 2 tyres from 9psi to 35psi still have 3 bars battery. Great addition if you are a DeWalt 18V convert.
My old rechargeable inflator recently gave up the ghost and couldn't cope with more than a single tyre so I did a bit of looking around and found this DeWalt unit. With the whole interchangeable battery thing I made my choice to go with DeWalt a few years back and have various 18V tools that are all great so for me I was very pleased to find that I can use my investment in the batteries for the inflator. At £120 it is very expensive really, and I would say too expensive if you don't already have the batteries and charger. However I love the fact that this uses my existing batteries because I have found they have great long life and I trust the quality of DeWalt. The unit itself is great - very sturdy and super easy to use. Topped up two mountain bikes and two cars and didn't use a single bar on the battery. A must have for your kit. Always need this for my camper van or mrs car even helped the neighbours out it was much better than the cigarette powers ones you can get from high street stores. Top Class - DeWalt DCC018N Tyre Inflator
Usual excellent build quality from De Walt. Performance is better than I expected - Quick to inflate R20 tyres on my Audi A6. Also quieter than other inflators I've used.. Controls excellent and easy to use - set your pressure switch on & leave it to run and it switches off automatically when pressure achieved.
