QHD or 4K
I bought this monitor because I needed a bit more desktop real estate when connected to my 16” MBP and it does the job perfectly. The resolution is better than a 1080p monitor so I can view two web pages side by side, see more columns and rows in a spreadsheet, work on photos in zoomed in or watch a HD movie comfortably. I have both my PC and MBP connected and switching between them is easy enough using either the buttons on the display or by shutting down one device it automatically switches to the other input. Whilst it does have built in speakers it’s ok for meetings but not great for music or movies. The lack of VESA mount is an oversight on AOC’s part and would have made this a great monitor, that being said the height when placed on a desk is a good viewing angle but some may wish to put on a monitor stand.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Really great value, but for a couple of quid more could have been so much better.

Impressive Monitor from AOC.
For the price its amazing value, writing is sharp and easy to see without having to strain your eyes, gameplay looks bright without again hurting your eyes, It has a DP port which personally for me is a bonus as I find it makes the screen look slightly better then using the usual HDMI. I intend in the future to buy a second one for expanding gameplay.. as I mainly play driving/racing games... I cant fault this monitor at this price point... Great screen on a budget
I was originally after a 27" AOC monitor which fitted my budget but after some research I discovered that the 27" screen was TN technology which is a step down from IPS screens especially for colour accuracy and viewing angles. And for some reason they are about the same price so the choice was obvious. The screen has ample adjustments to get the screen looking more natural as manufacturers always seems to set them too bright with screaming colours. So, ideal for photography on a budget.
