Hitachi 3 1/2 inch 21° framing gun 18 V
Wow the power this gun has. I’ve been using pneumatic nailer‘s for the last 40 years. It very much surprise me and no kickback. I know it only takes one sleeve of nails equaling 27. But that’s the only downfall it’s not much heavier than my pneumatic gun.This will be a game changer on the ladder. No more hoses getting caught. Have test fired it about 20 times with different lenght nails
It drives 3" nails flush. The depth adjustment works good. The only drawback I have found is 3" nails are harder to insert into the magazine and you have to push them in because of the plastic holder of the nails has to slide over the aluminum sticks out in the magazine chamber. Make sure to press hard the nose piece before you pull the trigger or else the nailer won't fire. Other wise I am very happy with this Hitachi nailer. I wasn't a Hitachi fan a year ago but after buying 2 of their framing nailers I am very happy I bought a Hitachi instead of a DeWalt and I love DeWalt products.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Unexpected power
Using pnumatic nailers most often, this battery operated nailer surprised me with it's power. I moved to cordless tools because of their portability .
