Amazing capabilities - great product
I was not expecting such a high quality product with such power when I read others reviews before buying this chain saw. It’s fast, powerful and easy to use although it is heavy at the top end. I overcame this by simply balancing it upright and then leaning the saw into the branch. Like a knife through butter! I also used it to fell three fruit trees and then chop them into logs ready for the wood burner this winter! Heartily recommend, and, for those of us nervous of chainsaws, the distance between the on switch and the blade is exceptionally comforting!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ok,but not great
Rather poorly made.Parts don't fit together well and are very fiddly.Once assembled and put to use the power to the saw at the end of the pole is intermittent.Extremely awkward to use due to weight of saw at end of pole which is not really powerful enough.Rather disappointed.Would not recommend to my worst enemy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job & has good balance
Having read other reviews I was concerned that it might be top heavy but I found the balance good and easy to use with the shoulder strap. As a small chain saw its best with small branches up to 1" thick but might do thicker branches. Yes the cut material will clog the chain guard but I found this is quite easy to remove without removing the guard. (But isolate the power when doing this for safety). Extending tree saw
Excellent quality for this type of chain saw, A little top heavy, but this is designed to work in your favour in cutting through branches, as no pressure required depending on what your cutting. It has a powerful motor for its size. Only con would be the lead connected could be a bit longer, even though you use it with an extension lead to keep it further from your standing area. Good performance - good for a beginner.
I have successfully trimmed 2 trees so far with this and I am impressed with its power. Lops of any branch up to 3 inches with ease even at full extent. It's not too heavy for me when fully extended but a person of a slighter build might find it a bit unwieldy. It uses quite a lot of oil and there was only a very small bottle included which soon ran out. The instructions are rather sparse - for instance I couldn't find clear instructions about how to fit the harness. Garden pole saw
Bought this to trim branches on a rather large tree in my garden. It performed well and did everything that was required for my needs. It is a little heavy when fully extended but as long as it is used as suggested in the manual it is very easy to manage. Good Tool
I thought it really good for the price. Only used twice and very impressed with performance, time will tell. Weight and balance is not a problem. I found that taking time to rotate strap clamp to compensate for unit trying to twist down works fine. Electric Bush cutter
Generally a good piece of equipment and does a good job. My only reservation is that it is not always easy to find the right balance using the shoulder strap. Good for the price
Used for cutting back very tall fir trees. Works very well but bit cumbersome when full extended and shoulder strap doesn’t help. I had to do it it stages as in full extend straight above you it showers you in hedge trimmings and is not that light weight. It’s more a matter of balance.
