Great Watch for International Travel and Pilots!
I owned a first generation Blue Angels Skyhawk that finally died after sixteen years. The newest generation is much larger in size and thickness, more features and is much more complicated to change settings. From a physical standpoint it's a nice watch with a large face dial and LED features. I would give this watch five stars if it were not for the complicated and somewhat confusing instructions that you must download from Citizen's website. There is a video as well that goes over the basics but bases it on a preset condition the watch comes in, settings for LAX and NYC. Whatever you do, don't start touching buttons, before reading instructions and video! I assumed very little changed in the setting mechanics between the original version and this one and that was wrong! It was much simpler for the original model. Beautiful Timepiece
I really love this watch. It’s extraordinarily accurate as it syncs to the world atomic clocks daily. It is about half the weight of my Bulova Precisionist watches and a little heavier than my Seiko chronos which makes it feel more solid. The hands are very easy to read. My only complaint is viewing it at night in the dark. Unless the luminescent hands have been exposed to bright light they are difficult to see. Good but not really a dress watch.
Heavy. I have another model as well with the radio control (time sync) and the eco battery--never have to replace the battery--I love that feature. Your eyesight better be good to read all the markings. I do think they overdid it with the entries. I always wanted this type of watch.
