Simpler and improved.
This new version is simpler, and works immediately (unlike the old one), the display is clear, and it does what I want it to do very well. My only criticism is that the finish of the finger grips is a bit shiny, and the Snark can ping itself off into the void when you are trying to fit it! Similarly, it seems to fall off the instrument in the case, so you need to keep an eye on it in case it escapes. It's apparently not recommended to be left clipped on certain laquer finishes, so might be worth checking compatibility before you buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well made, clear view, easy to use, positive tuning. Does the job.
It does the job - aids the tuning of the guitar - simply, easily and positively. A bit awkward in my accessory bag, because of the neck shape, but suppose the shape makes it more useful for different instruments and different playing positions. If it was being supplied with a protective bag, at least it should be of a size to contain the tuner safely. It wasn't cheap, but have had those already. My guitar tutor recommended snark tuners and I have no hesitation in recommending this after trying the tuner in my zoom pedal (pretty good for electric, obviously not built for my acoustics); free phone app ( ok but a bit of a faff) and fender (just did not like as much as the snark).
