In essence this product had so much potential but failed to deliver. Despite following the instructions carefully the device kept on turning itself off during cooking and managed to burn the base. The 20 minute soup was still preparing itself almost 2 hours later at which point I intervened, tipped it the contents into a pan before using a liquidiser. Returned the item for a full refund. Whilst my device could have been faulty I lost faith in the product and decided to go back to my old method of preparing soup.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My husband is a chef and scoffed at these until a friend bought one. Even he is using it. Really easy to use; just cut up the veg, out in soup maker with stock, switch on, select whether you want chunky or smooth and walk off and leave it for 20 mins. When you return it’s ready to eat. Amazing device thst few peopl ehave heard about until now. Easy to make a crunchy or Smoothie Soupo. Easy to clean and everything is done for you by Morphy Richards.. Ideal for two peope or a batchelor as with a pint iof Bisto made and a packet of mix vegatables and sweetcorn, it counts down the time giving you time to place your bread on a plate, get out the soup bowls and spoons and them simply turns itself off, and all you need do is pour it out into your dishes. Best soup I’ve ever had
Literally throw ingredients in with some stock, and turn it on. Delicious soup in 21 mins. There are a couple of ingredients that burn on the bottom (cabbage, for one!) but it’s easy enough to clean off. The recipes in the booklet are fab, especially the tomato and basil one. Got this as a xmas present.made pea and ham soup as had ingredients. Delicious and hot. In 28 minutes. Im ordering a recipe book as only a dozen or so recipes in the manual. Im starting slimming world in new year and soups are going to be a godsend. It is not the same as making it in a saucepan and using a blender far less work involved, shove everything in and walk away, that simple. My husband tried it as I'm away He told me he had five veg in the fridge and found a stock cube then followed the instructions. He said the soup was delicious and was enough for four really generous servings. He's delighted with it! It fits neatly on the counter top and looks good.
