Good quality and excellent rechargeable hand warmer.
My wife suffers from Raynaud's condition (very poor blood circulation to the fingers) which can be very painful in the cold weather and can have other complications if the condition is severe. She has used HotRox handwarmers for a numbers of years now and thoroughly recommends them to anyone suffering from Raynaud's condition. The earlier design of HotRox was also very good but heated up on one side only and was smaller. The new later HotRox (as this model) heats up on both sides but is slightly larger and longer so it's a bit more bulky to fit inside a lady's glove although my wife doesn't have any problems using the larger HotRox in a sheepskin mitten glove. 3 indicator lights show the state of charge and the HotRox can be switched between medium and the higher heat level although for most people the medium heat level, which lasts longer, is fine and pleasantly warm to hold in the hand. The HotRox comes with a USB type charging lead but in order to charge from a 220v/240v socket (the quickest way to recharge the HotRox) the lead needs to be connected to a mains transformer/USB output plug which is not supplied but is available at extra cost.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant piece of kit
This warms up very quickly and stays hot for ages. On the low setting in a pocket it gets very hot. Plus if you need to, you can charge your phone. Great outdoor tool, no lighting or fuels, just charge and use. Great product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

So good I bought one for each pocket!
I've tried various types of handwarmers and this is the best so far - streets better than the original HotRox pebble which offered only one-sided warmth and very limited life between charges. Brilliant pocket sized handwarmer
I have the smaller Hotrox and spotted this slightly larger model, keeps your hands lush and warm for much longer than the original. I would recommend this product. If you are using this near the coastline try not to get sea water on it( as I done to my smaller handwarmer) the charge point coroded.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ok - Just Ok
I carefully measured and timed the performance of two of these. Neither reached the attested max' temperatures; falling short by some 5degrees. Neither lasted the attested duration falling short bus nearly 1 hour which, given that I had carried out these tests at room temperature, is disappointing. Buy one for each hand

Good but doesn't stay warm long enough.
Very good hand warmer, much easier to use than the lighter fuel heated ones. Only criticism is it doesn't last anywhere near the 6 hours quoted. Mine lasts for spprox' 3.5 hours, not enough for a round of golf. Would have given it 4 or 5 stars ifvit gad stayed warm for an hour longer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does exactly as advertised
I bought this product for my husband who suffers from cold hands when playing golf. According to him it's marvellous, it stay lovely and warm. At the moment he and his pals are only playing 14 holes but he thinks it should last for 18 easily. Inserting the usb cable into the hand warmer can be a bit tricky as it's quite tight, but practice makes perfect. I purchased a plug in charger which is more convenient than trying to find the usb port on our tower PC. Too big and heavy
However, my review is simply based on the fact that it is not what I was looking for and therefore had to send it back. It probably works fine if it's what you are looking for but for me it is too big and too heavy. I already have a HotRox hand warmer. It is single sided and small enough to slip inside a mitten.
