Careful use.
Okay for the price. In fact it's pretty good does the job, as long as your careful. It's not self locking. If you want the tape to lock, you have physically press the button that traps the tape then release. Overall good cheap tape measure. Probably better than one three times the price. Ok tape measure
Had one of these from Aldi, a previous model which I lost, but this is much the same. Do not pull the measure out all the way as it won't easily retract. There is a warning on the tape measure itself once you go past 10m, but I only saw that afterwards. I did manage to retract it eventually without opening it up.
