Makes free machine embroidery so much easier....
This is a great improvement on the old style Janome free machine embroidery foot, as it has an adjuster so that the machine foot can be lowered to skim the surface of the fabric, giving you more control. admittedly, it is more expensive than the traditional free darning foot that usually is either supplied or you an buy, but the difference in the result I think is worth the investment. Make sure that you get the right Janome Convertible Free Motion Quilting foot for your machine as machines come either as high shank or low shank. You can check which one you need online for your machine. I have bought this for my old Janome MC4000 (needing a low shank foot) and i'm really pleased with the result!

Easy to fit
I bought this foot because it was convertable to the different types of free motion work. I am a beginner at free motion quilting, and have found that having all three options open to me is very helpful, and good value.
