Great if you want wireless controllers but does have a few issues
This is a good upgrade to the standard wired analogue Scalextric power supply. The biggest benefit from our perspective is the wireless controllers - great to allow the kids to scramble around the track. It also interacts with an Android/IOS app that opens up a whole host of racing options, plus brings in concepts like having to do pit stops, racing against a pace car etc. To be honest, the app, whilst a great idea, was a bit of a disappointment to us in practice - it's not particularly user friendly and is a bit buggy. The only other thing to be careful with is that the ARC Air power supply seems a bit more sensitive than the standard one - it is much more prone to cutting power due to shorts/power surges etc - you just have to switch it off and on again to reset it, but we never had that problem with the original power supply. Not also that this isn't the digital version - for that you need the Arc Air Pro.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
