Yamaha MusicCast
I am enjoying the music cast immensely! The main purpose for me was to wirelessly stream Bluetooth and internet radio. I noticed a bit of electronic cord interference with it located in office near a bundle of electronics such as a 2 laptops, desktop computer, stereo amplifier, CD player, 2 power strips and LED desktop lights and simply relocated it further away which others may find helpful. This eliminated the interference. Only downside is cost of Yamaha musicast speakers which is 500 or so and I used my stereo speakers. If I purchased again, I would get version with speaker outputs which is about $150 more to make it more versatile for me but that is based on my needs and may not be necessary for your needs. Again, pleased with purchase and no regrets. Nice quality unit, built well and heavy for a small unit which is nice! Plenty of inputs too. The version with speaker outputs would have replaced my amp and I could listen to local FM through internet which eliminates need for FM tuner.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Value and a powerful streaming device
I initially purchased to stream HiFi music to my Cambridge Audio Dacmagic Plus and let me tell you this thing is great you can't go wrong with this streamer I initially streamed Pandora Premium but the Pandora app was not fully functional on the Yamaha Wxc-50 so moved over to Spotify and Tidal the convenience is second to none super easy to set up and use the Music Cast app is awesome if you want a very good streaming device this is is it also cast music to other rooms via wifi and bluetooth with compatible devices this is the first device I've purchased in a very long time that does what it says it does simply and flawlesslyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Delivers quality hi-res sound experience
I'm no audiophile, but I do appreciate the sound quality of digital music, and the Yamaha WXC-50 really delivers a great experience. Great for the Money but no Firmware Update.
Even though I recommend the Yamaha WXC-50 and as a matter of fact, I have two, the lack of firmware update is the main problem with this preamplifier and network streamer. I was able to connect to my network because I have an old iPad. It would be almost impossible otherwise, unless you connect directly via ethernet instead of using Wi-Fi. I have streamers throughout the house and The WXC-50 is the best for the money, if you can make it work.

Fell in LOVE with my stereo all over again.
I'm an old school audiophile that finally took the step to connect my phone and all the music that I have on it to my home hi-fi. WHY didn't I do this sooner? This Yamaha WXC-50 isn't the only way to do so, definitely not the cheapest way, but it's a quality way to do it. The case is beautiful, the remote is functional and a perfect size.
