Improved performance
Claims to improve performance. Hard to judge without testing equipment etc, but my perception is that it has. I have a Subaru Outback 3litre. I feel that there is an improvement. Good stuff!
I've done about 500 miles on this which 410miles in one day. Filter performs well with stock 165HP engine. Noticeable torque improvement, lower fuel cons.: 0.5 MPG increase in town, 2.7 MPG on motorway. Best mileage increase at 60 - 75MPH - it can reach 40 - 45MPG on long journeys with cruise control on, and gentle throttle use.

Quality filter
Fitted well and easily done on Legacy. Only gripe is that the filter had been removed from cardboard box and was outside the box but within the overall packaging and plastic outer mail bag.
