Best Price on the Market
The battery is not as displayed on listing. It does not have the Battery Charge Control as picture. I checked with supplier and he informed me that this was a manufactures update. I took this information on face value, I did not check out validity of given info. Battery has only been in use one week but it has given 100% performance so far, which in all honesty is only as should be expected. Note of guidance to anyone fitting own battery - unless the vehicles specification gives explicit confirmation that your vehicle has a back up power supply when battery is disconnected other provision must be made or else Radio Code and other vehicle computer data will be lost. There are several methods on the market, I simply ran jump leads from battery on my wife car to the leads to be removed from battery on my vehicle. Exide EA770
Fantastic EXIDE battery available at a bargain price. Why buy a unbranded battery from a manufacturer that you have never heard of when this one has more capacity & cold cranking amps at a lower price from a well known manufacturer. I cannot rate this battery highly enough. I bought it to replace the battery on my 2.0L VW Diesel after its original equipment battery suddenly gave up without any warning. The difference is like light night & day the car starts instantly on turning the key without any need to crank the car over and once its running the whole car seems to be running smoother. This battery is in the same physically sized package i.e. Type 096 but has more capacity & double the cold cranking amps than the battery it replaced 760CCA compared to 380CCA. This Exide Battery is probably the best quality and the most reliable I have ever purchased. It really is very powerful, and also seems to recharge much quicker than regular batteries. Measurement is exactly what it says on the box. Fitted to my car like a pair of glove. Took only 10 mins to replace the battery. No messing. I like the new look without all the screw caps for refilling the acid. Since it is a maintenance free battery, the caps are unnecessary. Slightly larger than the battery recommended for my car, but I measured battery compartment to ensure it would fit and checked terminal position was the same. Has withstood some very cold mornings, starting my 1.9 diesel easily. Great battery, for great price!
I was interested to buy the same battery from euro carparts where it would be £35 more in special weekend sale with 30% discount! So it was a bargain! Many thanks, it's really brand new, was fully charged! 4 years warranty, however if there would be a problem with it I don't know how could I warranty the product maybe with ebay receipt at manufacturer?
