    German made quality

    Looks just like the OE VW ones I removed. All lights come on when doors open now. I guess the contact must just wear on the old ones, mine were 19 years olds before replacing. For just over £12 (for 3) delivered and less than 30 mins fitting for all 3, definitely a gratifying job. Note that only the driver’s side uses both terminals, the rest only one wire, initially I thought I had lost a wire into the panel! The sliding door switch is mounted upside down compared to the others, but this is pretty obvious as won’t screw in otherwise… This was fitted to a 2002 T4 Transporter and sold by simplycarparts. I am in no way affiliated with them, but would recommend for price and speed of delivery.

    Although this was supposed to fit an LT van in the description the switch is to short to cut off light

    it is not the correct switch for an LT van side door. THE PLUNGER IS TO SHORT and there fore it will not extinguish the interior lamp.
