  • FEBI - Anti Roll Bar Bush Kit 37659

Excellent quality overall, kit purchased designed for a 19mm antiroll bar, bushes measured in internally with calibrated engineering verniers at 0.680 Inch -17.27mm, roughly 1-3/4mm smaller than the respective antiroll bar diameter. This is correct and necessary, an interference fit of roughly 1-3/4mm is required, although fitting antiroll bar bushes can be a rear end as a result. The brackets are well formed and made from steel with potentially what looks to be a galvanised finish, for corrosion / rust prevention. Bolts supplied have well formed course threads and pre-applied locking compound. Single point of dissapoinment, although not critical; and manageable. The nuts for the brackets are not welded or spot welded in place, It appears that FEBI have gone down the route of cheaper to fabricate without, instead the nuts are press fitted rivnuts. Rivnuts can break free if they have not been press fitted correctly on manufacture,or through rust and corrosion if removing the bolts in future. or potentially from the fitter accidentally or through not using a torque wrench overtightening the bolts when fitting. This will result in the nut spinning and difficulty removing the bolt, fortunately FEBI has used Hex rivnuts, and not the dreaded round rivnut; which means a spanner or socket can be fitted provided no severe corrosion has occurred and subject to the room or clearance of the part on the vehicle. No points duducted as a result, a spot weld would be better though FEBI. I have done all my own mechanical maintainance for over 25 years and all in all the FEBI antiroll bar bush kit purchased is a very good part.

  • Full anti roll bar bushes, clamps & bolts kit.

This kit appears to be good for what it is intended for, not had the time to fit it to the car yet.
