Perfect introduction to Synths
I've never used a synth before, normally sticking to older 'toy' models of casio, but I decided it was time for an upgrade and since I understand casio, this was where I started.
First and foremost, this synth is fun, lightweight, and has a great sound (many argue it's better than the yamaha Dx series that it was competing with at the time). The perks do have the minor downfall of the learning curve however, as there is still stuff that without a manual (which is readily available online) I would never have learned. Even with the learning curve, as somebody who knows absolutely nothing about synths, there is a ton of fun to be had with just messing with the presets alone and slowly figuring out it's capabilities.
As of yet, I'm still a little cloudy on how to save sounds I've made in the memory, but I wanted to spent time just having fun and playing around before I did research online to actually figure out how things work in detail.
