Works a treat
Works a treat - cleans, heats and cools, is easy to move from room to room. And a lovely colour, too ;-) The app could be better, though, does not give enough information, settings are not user-friendly enough if you want to change something. At least linking the device was easy. All in all, this purifier is not cheap, but worth the money. It's ok, I expected a bit more.
It's OK, not really worth the price even refurbished, seems to want to be more of a heater than a fan, fan is fairly weak but noisy and there is no setting in the auto mode to set how cold you want the room, only how hot, it really needs a settable range so if the room goes over a certain temperature the fan comes on in cool mode and if under a certain temperature comes on in heat mode. Plus for the amount of noise it makes (I thought they were supposed to be almost silent), it sounds like I'm in a wind tunnel, but there isn't that much wind. I even tried a couple of additions to try and make it a bit better as you can see in the pictures.

Great idea but with several flaws
Overall this is a good idea, the heated element warms up quickly and the app makes controlling it convenient, however, there are flaws. First, and this one might be personal, is that the heating feature only works on a “target system”, you can’t just have it constantly blowing a small stream of warm air out. Secondly, the system isn’t completely quiet. Due to the air filter, the fan is always on, at a very low speed, but means it is noisy for a small room Thirdly, the fact that the fan is always on means it’s always blowing some cold air out, so if you want to heat up a room, once the Dyson reaches its heating target, the heating element turns off and the fan cools down the room you want to be warm!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Good on features with a great App.

Rubbish
Never is this thing worth £350, maybe £100 The fan is weak, the oscillation is rubbish and it failed to meet the 30 degree heat setting, it only made 26 degrees, and that was in empty room 260 by 260 in my bungalow, as for it making the claimed heat of 35 degrees, dream on, also the timer only worked on 9 hours max, the instruction manual was just a couple of pieces of cheap faded paper. Good, but not that good.
Its a little on the noisy side when it is on warm, much like most heaters. Bought a refurb so not as expensive as buying new, new. It appears to do the job of filtering the air but so far it always says that the air quality is good, no matter where I put it in the house. Would feel more confident if it said the air was not quite so good to begin with. Does it look good? Hmmm, not really. The materials look cheap. You would think on a premium priced product that it would have a premium look about it, but it doesn't. Would I buy another? No. Would I recommend one? Not sure I would. Does more than you expect
To be fair I brought this after the heat wave and before the winter, so it's actual performance has still to be assessed, but it does clean the air and the app on my phone tells me how clean the air is in my conservatory so it does more than I expected when I orded it, is it worth £500 dunno about that I just need it to remotely cool or heat the conservatory while I'm away, stops the plants from dieing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

An indulgence!
You have to admit, Dyson products are a bit of an indulgence. This is a glorified fan heater with air filtration. You could buy the two separately for a third of the price. Sure, the technology is cool (and hot in this case) but the fan can still be noisy at full blast and in my experience the app seems to have a couple of bugs (mine carried on with a timer even after cancelling and the target temp reset down to the room temp). That said, I like my little fan heater with its hidden blade technology and the air is clean, apparently! I'd note, there's a countdown on the life of the filter reported in the app. This can be annoying as you start thinking about limiting the use of the fan because the replacement filter is pretty expensive whereas what you really want is to just use it whenever it's required without the thought of yet another charge in a year, or a few months...weeks lol. Anyway, it's really great if you can afford the indulgent luxury and you want one, get one. If you can't, then get something just as functional for far cheaper.
