  • Excellent picture, many features

The OLED televisions are highly rated for picture quality, and the LG OLED line is considered the most economical buy in this category. Indeed, the picture is superlative. The blacks on this television are, well, absolutely black, unlike LCD or LED, and certainly (gasp, I'm showing my age) CRT, televisions. In some ways, it can be startling. This TV is rife with features, including a plethora of "video apps" (Hulu, YouTube, Amazon, Netflix, etc.), an essentially full featured web browser, Android and Windows screen mirroring, and a USB video file player (with fast and slow forward, and fast reverse). It can display two video sources simultaneously in a split screen view, but (a) there is only one tuner, and (b) if you are using an AV receiver for sound, you might fight a bit to get seamless sound switching with split screen (but that is a very esoteric and minor point). There are also a great number of picture adjustments -- I am working on figuring out all the intricacies (e.g., what's the difference between OLED background brightness, and brightness?). So, all in all, this has been a great upgrade from my former TV, a 40 inch LG 1080p LCD now over 10 years old. I recommend it without hesitation.

  • Excellent TV with Beautiful Image Quality

This is the first OLED TV I have purchased. During my research, I noticed a lot of people mention that OLED TVs have deep blacks and rich colors. The LG OLED55C7P does not disappoint. Blacks are deeper and colors are more vivid in comparison to my old Ultra HD LED TV. Sound quality from the TV speakers is average, so I paired my TV with a sound bar to get the best audio quality. I did find that the Audio Return Channel (ARC) did not work for me. However, this could be related to the brand of my sound bar or other factors. The optical cable that came with the TV works just fine. Overall, I would say this is a great worthwhile purchase.

  • Great TV

I use this for online and cable viewing. The LG smart TV system and especially the remote with its pointer and voice control are great and very intuitive, i never read the manual! I also use it as a reference monitor for editing and grading video. It shows a huge gamut and is especially good for showing a wide range of tones in dark and black areas which really helps me deliver better looking edits. 4K (UHD) resolution is great and you can sit close to the screen and still read text.

  • Easily the finest TV I've ever owned, stunning picture (set to sports mode)

you really need an optical splitter and an optical input D/A converter to get the most out of their optical output but having an optical fiber output ends the feedback loop problems with using those ancient RCA audio outputs that used to plague the older systems. Netflix connects seamlessly and at 4k, I may even have to ditch my apple TV because of this. Could this be the last TV I buy? Probably not but right now this is about as good as it gets.

  • OLED is Awesome.

OLED technology is really a step forward in TV picture quality. It's been out for a while now and just keeps getting better. It's not quite a bright as certain LED TVs, but its infinite blacks makes for contrast that cannot be beat. Zero blooming. Ultra thin bezel, the picture just leaps off the screen.

  • LG OLED55C7P Best Picture ever

Received this TV from FirstClassTVs and it arrive quickly in 5 days with FedEx tracking information and 90 day return policy, new, intact. Mounted it above my fireplace stone wall with the ECHOGEAR 32-72" heavy duty Tilting Low Profile TV Wall Mount..Worked great for this TV. It has the best picture quality of all TV's I have seen. The highest reviews, see CNET for details. Neat and classy looking with thin black bezel boarder makes it look like a edge to edge picture rather than what a silver edge would look like. I'm very happy with my TV with all the possible features and best price on the market.

  • LG OLED55C7P is a high quality TV

My internet search showed this television was rated #1 by a national consumer magazine and various consumer electronic publications. After watching the television I have to agree with these critics - excellent TV. It was easy to attach the cable box, stereo system, DVD player, etc. to it. Nice voice activated remote. Remote a little confusing with first use but practice made perfect and reading the instructions. Although it cost more than many 55 inch televisions on the market, it is definitely a higher quality than average TV. I do not regret buying it.

  • Wow

Never imagined a smart TV would be that smart. I have had my share of clawsy user interface , but this one is virtually flawless. When it comes to the most important thing for a TV. This TV knocks all others down the drain. This is a keeps unless they start making TVs that also brew my coffee this will be a long companion. Amazing picture quality. Even a 10,000 TV won' t beat the image quality. The amount of real useful Apps is amazing. Netflix 4K arrives in 4K . Amazing images. Amazon Prime though hides under HD HDR and calls it Ultra HD. Not the same as 4K, but close enough.

  • Good, but not perfect

I'm happy with the TV, but I have two problems "out of the box". 1) OLED's have blacker blacks, but this one may be too much of a good thing. It seems like all of the darker colors are much darker. For example, if someone is wearing a black coat, it's hard to differentiate the seams, wrinkles, pockets, etc. It's just all pitch black. I haven't yet played with the color adjustments on the TV, so I'm not sure if the issue can be improved. A salesman in the TV store told me that some people think the blacks are too black. At the time I dismissed it because it didn't seem like it would be a issue for me. Anyhow, it might not be just my impression. 2) The only other problem I had is that the LG remote does not control my ATT Motorola cable box. I was able to select the box and go through the setup process, but in the end it simply doesn't work. So I am using two remotes: The TV remote for volume and the Cable remote for channel. My guess is that this can be corrected, but I haven't yet called for support. Alternatively, I guess I can set up my ATT remote to control the TV instead.

  • Excellent all around TV

Love this tv...great picture, sharp, good contrast (blacks are really black), lots of different setting to try to best fit your environment. Also love the remote and interface -- really easy to navigate.
