Well filmed in genuine mountain scenery.
My father worked on this film, on location in Switzerland, so I am not going to criticise it, but it really is very well shot, with none of that fake snow you see on films such as Ice Station Zebra. As a mountaineer his skills were more than useful and he worked for Merton Park Film Studios in the UK, with whom Disney collaborated on this film. An entertaining and at times edge-of-the-sofa tale, set in a most beautiful place that hasn't changed too much.
