Simon Baker stars as Patrick Jane in THE MENTALIST, an independent detective whose observational skills are highly prized by the California Bureau of Investigation. He hides a painful past however: his wife and daughter were murdered by a man known as Red John, and though he pursues other criminals, this serial killer is always on his mind.     Nearly got half way through the 4th season. I think i know who Red John is as he nearly always plays a baddie. Picture quality very good, look forward to seeing the rest if the saga to see if i'm right. Good value.
