Very good but not my favorite EG.
As usual with Elly Griffith, great characters and excellent life observations both sad and comical. I found this slightly wandering into Richard Osman territory but still highly enjoyable. I think a bit more Harbinder and a bit less the other three would have been better but I say this with respect. I just felt that like Thursdsy Murder Club 2, when one character is so supercharged and is ever more fantastic (beautiful, sexy, rich, brilliant, tough) it stretches credibility and interest. I find that ordinary people being stretched are far more interesting. Little quips of human inner feelings and humour make it for me. Still, a great read.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
