Not fit for purpose.
This machine as is is not fit for purpose. I have explained to the seller the reasons but they are not interested. The major problem is the side chute / funnel which they claim to be able to handle 102 mm diameter wood. Never unless it is dead straight , like a garden post. The slightest curve in the wood jams in the totally inappropriate funnel. If one can bend the wood it is possible for it to work, Any above about 2 inches 50 mm, will jam. An alternative is to cut the wood into short lengths 30 cm and then it will work. Other machines , probably made in the same factory , have a wider and shorter profile funnel they and work fine. Unless you are prepared to cut up all of your wood to short lengths do not buy this machine. With a funnel / chute , as it seems is the industrial norm , were to be fitted then it will be a great chipper
