Fast ,easy to use but hate the Google bloatware
Easy to set up and use..loaded what i needed fairly quickly and easily..the remote is very sensitive and it's impossible to avoid accidental presses but u an disable some buttons with an app..the new update has changed the,homepage and contains Google bloatware and menus which can't be turned off except with using 3rd party software and it now resembles Firetv and it's incessant pushing of its material..disappointing as I bought the shield to get away from the bloatware so it wasn't worth the switch from firetvVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best streaming device out there
Put simply if you want the best device for streaming Netflix and Prime Video then this is it. Far superior to Firestick/Rokue and the likes, the picture quality (DV/HDR) with AI upscaling blows everything else out of the water. Best Android TV Box
The Nvidia Shield is without a doubt the best android tv box you can get but it does come at a cost. Has most of the main subscription services other than Britbox at present and also catch up services apart from All4 and UKTV Play for some reason. Streaming is amazing and the box itself is extremely fast. Gaming is great if your internet speed is good enough or you can download one of the many emulators that are available. If you want top picture quality
I wanted the AI scaling that Nvidia provides making the picture high quality. I have used all competitors amazon, Google etc. And this has a better picture. Very happy with it. Apparently it is also good for gaming but I haven't tried that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pro , is the way to Go
Still the best streamer out there for the price . This is my 2nd as I still use my 2017 model in another room .The upgraded AI is noticable. from the older model . Pro model is the only way to go . The stick is just not worth the money as lose out on attching external hard drives .. I have a seagate 8TB connected as well as a 6TB WD . Using my WD 4TB Mycloud as my streamer .. Excellent streaming media centre
Best of all the streaming devices out there. Small so can be hidden away. I have a nas drive with movies and music, connected to the shield. Built in Plex media server hosts all the media to various Plex client players. With audio pass through I get all audio formats sent to my av receiver. Works very quickly and much faster than previous Amazon firestick. AI upscaling works reasonably well on old material, and on good lower res feeds is very impressive.
