Gets the job done affordably.
Met all expectations. Found one adjustment was needed. The adjustable disk around the blade I found would snag the work while cutting. The correction was simple. I fashioned a piece of 1/4” plywood with a little hole for the blade to pass through clamping it to the cutting bed. After that nothing but smooth cutting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not really easy-access, but still a great beginner scroll saw!
Overall this is a good beginner level scroll saw. If you've never done scroll saw work before, then this would be a good start. It is a solid piece of equipment but for me there were a couple of major drawbacks. First, it is NOT easy to change the blades. Getting to the underside is difficult, both for getting your hand in and to see. Second, I've had a lot of trouble using pinless blades. If all you use are pinned blades, it works great (other than changing them out). If you aren't going to do fine work with lots of sharp turns, then pinned blades are fine. Again, for a beginner, this probably isn't a big deal. Again, the price is right and a good value for the beginner. The quality as a whole is solid with my only complaint there being the difficulty in swapping out the blade. Beginner? Yes, absolutely, give it a try! Not a beginner? Stick with WEN and bump up a couple notches to one of their other models.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

If I use it enough I’ll surely upgrade to the high end Wen scroll saw down the road because I am impressed with this saw. The only “negative” I have is that it smelled a little bit for a day when I first opened it but that’s how most tools are so I mean what did I expect?
