A Bargain Buy For Bargain Prices
The Corsair Void Elite Wireless headset is one of those items that looks good on paper and on your head, but in reality is disappointing when it comes down to the specifics. PROS: -Great audio quality for the price point -Great battery life that rivals more expensive headsets -One of the few models that supports fabric/mesh ear cups instead of leather -Priced excellently for those that can use it CONS: -Loose fit, very roomy but made for bigger heads -Microphone quality is not the best -Overall build quality is not the best The thing I noticed immediately was that these did not fit my head at all, and I have a big head. The band rests comfortably on top of the head but the cups do not grip the side of your head at all meaning any forward or backward momentum can cause these to come loose, so it's best to stay immobile when wearing them. The obvious lack of comfort even when stationary was annoying, but the audio quality made up for it. Overall, the quality was great for what I paid for (sub $100) and a great buy for those who can overcome the fit issues or have bigger heads, and the mesh/fabric ear cups will definitely help those with issues when wearing leatherette or gel pads like I do.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

It was definitely used quality.
The headset came in with worn ear muffs, padding noticible sweat. The mic noticibly loose. I had remove padding, lysol wipe the surfaces twice, wd 40 specialist the buttons & sound adjuster. Then tighten mic screws & silicone gorrila glue to act as gasket. Then i dish soap+boiling water soaked the padding, then soak in 5% caustic soda water for 30 minutes to remove oils & final bacteria. Then rinse & dryer it.

Great till it fails
Sound is Xlnt BUT,,, I've had it for a week or so and the left speaker FAILED. When I first got it it did not work till I slapped it a few times and it made a connection. Then last night I set it down, but when I went to use it again the left speaker had failed again like when I first got it. Now I will have to fight Corsair to RMA the damn thing, waste postage and WAIT till they replace it.
