TV Ears gives me volume without disturbing others!
My new TV Ears replacement 5.0 Wireless Headset Model 21502 is everything I expected it to be! The sound is excellent & the tone quality (added bass) works very well. I am able to hear dialog much more clearly through it than I can directly from my brand new Samsung and the volume control is so powerful that I just have to turn them on and I get full volume! I am an expert TV Ears customer. I have all generations of TV Ears. Since I depend on these devices to listen to the TV due to my hearing loss. I tried almost every device and this is the cheapest and most affordable one. When I purchased this item, I also purchased a new one from TV Ears at a good discount. The best sounds are when they are new and current models. because they have no wear. I have purchased about 4 Used refinished TV Ears on eBay in the past two years. One was about as good as the new one and the others about half. This one works but does not charge in the newer dual adapter. This a first-generation digital. I had the adapter for that. It was dead when I got it. I charged it and it worked through the Duel Adapter. But the sound and tone are below standard about half. I will use it as a backup. On-time is usually about 6-8 hours continue. for new. Used models half of that even replacement battery, it the graphic broad that ages and the poles and wires. Since I watch a lot of TV. I have 5 backups. Understand when purchasing these items you have to know the differences and what to expect when they are used. You not going to get a new one used. They worked great, My first day they were tight because being brand new, so I started flexing them to to straighten out like the video shows, Having big and rough construction hands, I bent them in the middle on one side. Totally my fault, They didn't break, but it made me nervous. Its something to be careful not to do. But other than that , they sound good and work good, I actually bought them as a spare to dock in my extra docking port, that way if I ever forget and don't turn my button off on my original pair, I won't get up to a dead pair. Love them!!
I love them. I have 4 pairs. 2 in my bedroom and 2 in my living room, sometimes the batteries need to be charged if you listen to something for longtime while reading, etc. . I have very poor hearing. I was telling a friend I had a hard time hearing the commentary over the music in the last winter Olympics. She recommended TV ears and I don't have that problem now with any program. The talking is much clearer. It's hard to explain. The "antennas" are too close together and to spring them wide enough to put over both ears is uncomfortable. They are almost touching each other rather than be set about 5 or 6 inches apart and there is no way that i see to adjust them. I have bought other TV Ears which did not have that issue. I fear that continued pressure to spring them apart will eventually break them. The rubber tips are a great improvement from the older sponge like tips which fell apart often. These seem much more durable. I ordered the TV Ears 5.0 Digital Headset as an extra set for my mother who is in her 70’s. My mother is small framed and the bulky over the head headsets (that are like the older stereo headsets) are just too heavy for her and bother her ears after wearing for 30-40 minutes. Great sound

Adding a second set of TV Ears lets my wife watch TV all day if she wants.
My wife has lost some of her hearing and so she has been using these to watch TV.
