Never looked or sounded better
Best presentation of this film that I have had the pleasure to watch. The cinematography is well served by the 4K restoration and the additional scenes do add interesting details, particularly near the beginning. Deceptive and Pointless
I thought "Brilliant" when I heard that the full version of The Shining was being released. So they put it out on Blu-Ray/DVD set (never understand the point of these, surely you want one or the other). If you have a Blu-Ray player, then great, you can play the full version. For us with just a DVD player the DVD in this set is the British "cut" version. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT? I already have the "cut" DVD version, I wanted, the advertised, FULL length version. Nowhere in the sales pitch, for this, is it stated that the DVD is the "theatrical cut," so beware.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
