Bruno Walter’s performance on Beethoven nine symphonies is the greatest work among all. I had two sets of CD, and two single SACD, NO. 5 and 6, which were remastered on 1999. But this newly remastered complete set on 2019 is much better, in terms of resolution, details, transparency, and over all musicality. It is better than any of the modern performance. In particular, the most famous symphony no. 9 is profoundly outstanding. After listening such a great performance, I say to myself: Thanks God, it is saved.
