Prime example that some Chinese manufacturers still don't do QA.
Yes, 3 pairs, only one works properly. If you are a gambling man, go for it. Does it sound (the one that works that is) almost as good as some of the cheaper SKullacandys and Sennheiser lineup? Hell no! Nobody would pay 10 times more for those if that was the case. So far (from what I could test) Skullacandy's Jibs are the best (from earphones in the 10pounds zone). I just don't like that they keep dying after just a couple of months.
The bass on these is hefty but unnatural, mids and highs are indistinguishable and bland, and though you might be able to bring them up with a proper EQ, the fact that they are made of metal, and I hate to keep saying this, ruins the experience for good. Not only don't they care about sound and acoustics, which fair enough, they know it's rubbish so they invest in materials to make them look shinny. Basic cheapo-Chinese philosophy.
Can you still use them? Yes, but I wouldn't recommend it. My quest of finding cheap but good sounding earphones is still at foot!
