Good solid charger with plenty of power.
I had a couple of batteries on vehicles which had been stood for weeks and they would only just click the starter motors. I put the first one on low and left it a few hours, checked it with the tester and it was showing 12.7v, enough to start the vehicle (Fiesta 1.4Tdci) Next one was larger battery from a 2.0 Hdi Peugeot and I tried the boost function for 30 minutes and it was holding charge so I turned it back to low and left it again for a few hours. It was charging at 5 amps on the gauge and dropped to 2 amps as the battery was charging. I put the tester on it and it was holding charge at 12.8v and started the vehicle and is still running on it now. A sturdy well made charger with good clips and dial which does the job nicely. I'd have given it 5 stars but I think Amazing is a bit too strong a description for a battery charger.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I wanted a conventional 12 volt battery charger, NOT an auto charger that disconnects as the correct terminal voltage is reached. Sometimes a battery needs a conditioning charge. This 10 amp unit is solidly built and does the job nicely. I has an on/off switch, a 12/24 volt switch, low and high boost charge current switch also an ammeter. Exactly what I wanted.
