Banana Bag greatly slows ripening.
I eat a banana most days and I would normally only buy bananas once a week so that storage and avoidance of over-ripening has been a problem. I had heard od these Banana Bags but only recently decided to try one. I now find that the bananas kept in the bag in the fridge hardly ripen at all, and so I need to take say 2 or 3 bananas out at a time and let them ripen so that I have a ripe one each morning.. I have only been using th bag for about 2 weeks so far, but it certainly does a good job at preventing the bananas ripening too quickly. So far the bag seems to be doing a good job and i could recommend it to others. But iwould need to prove it over a few months to get a better evaluation of it..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not Qt. what I expected.

Excellent Banana Bag - Ideal
I have been using banana bags for some years now and needed another for my Daughter, I was really pleased with the quality when it arrived so treated myself to another one. They really do keep bananas for weeks and I usually try and purchase very firm ones or nearly green and then take them out a day or so before we need to eat them. I have now found that they keep carrots better in the fridge, I just leave them in their poly bag and then put them in the banana bag and it keeps them much fresher. Excellent , the skins went a little dark but the fruit inside was good not brown and soft, and I left them in the bag for a week just to check, and by now in my fruit bowl the bananas would be soft and brown. Not a drawstring closure
