Brought 2 to put inside of my pillow. Hoped to get a cool night's sleep.
2 of them fills out a pillow case, However after 20-30 mins the mat starts to retain heat . Removed from pillow after 1 hour because IT was too hot and Took a few hours to cool down again. Not enough gel filling to use on a pillow & feels uncomfortabe on your face , like sleeping on a padded book. It is probably good value as a therapy or pet pad but not for sleeping on your pillow. IMO- Not suitable for the purpose intened or as described to be a pillow for use to sleep on or works effectively over time. Disappointing that IS what I'd bought it for. Chilling it helps the duration ,but remains far less comfortable or more effective than a chilled "hot water bottle"Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Magic cooling pillow. Heats up. Very disappointed.
I purchased this as my husband gets a hot sweaty head, also another for my dad who also gets hot. Unfortunately it heats up in minutes, therefore doesn't work. I originally used a chillow but that leaked on two occasions and went in the bin as it ruined my pillows. I hope this would have the same effect. Cooling mat
This looked great and I was desperate for something to help relieve flushes. When it arrived there is very little cooling gel in it. Within 15 minutes it was hot all over and took ages to cool back down. If this mat had had more gel inside it, it would have been a great purchase. Not what I was expecting
I bought this to keep my pillow cool, I have found it starts out ok but it doesn't stay cool for very long. It is, in my opinion, not designed very well for this use either. It does not cover the full pillow and there is no way to keep it in place so I am constantly having to move it back into place. Flexible and quality product. A bit too small for my needs as I use it to wrap round burning feet at night, Does not hold the cold for long (about 15 mins; my feet soon get it blood temp. 2 × cooling mats
They work really well. Obviously after Several hours they warm up. However put them in the fridge for a few hours, or the freezer for a short time, and use them again. So easy to clean, just a quick wipe over with a antibacterial wipe. I use mine under my pillow , or in bed , under my cushions. Even use them to elevate pain relief. With muscles, joints or headaches. They can even be used in dog, or cat beds, to cool them . So helpful I've boughs bought two sets. Love this so much .
It’s great as a pillow cooler I have even just laid it across my face , when it’s not cooling me down I place my I pad on it as it can overheat especially in the warm weather also I have ordered another 2 as my dogs love to lie on it at night one of which is a black pug puppy who we have to keep cool in the heat as he can’t regulate his body temperature like other breeds.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cooling as needed
I needed Ice packs preoperative but couldn't get any that didn't need freezing and small ones that you could break inner seals as no strength in hands.
