Easy to install, good value, should be maintenance free for 7yrs
The Base plate makes for easy installation as the alarm slots straight in once you have fixed the base plate to the wall. Saves all the bother of trying to ensure screws line up with the base of the alarm when an alarm does not come with a base plate. I mention this because it's not always easy to align the screws precisely when drilling into plaster or brick as drill can drift of a little and that can make all the difference in aligning the alarm. As the battery is sealed in with a life of 7yrs one can only hope that the replacement will match the existing base plate. Fit and forget CO Monitor - ideal for a motorhome or similar
Bought to replace an existing alarm in a motorhome (the same model, now time expired and no longer working. The sealed unit makes it 'fit and forget' for six years in the case of my old unit.
