Very good for occasional, light work
Very easy to use chainsaw for what I need it for: cutting planks and logs for burning on a fire. Small and quiet. I like the fact that is it powered by rechargable batteries. Not for heavy duty work, though: if you are planning to cut down large trees, for example, I would get a more powerful machine. Very powerful does exactly what top end professional chainsaw does, its much lighter and lots quieter, i used it to cut a 20" cherry tree down and cut up on 4 x 5 amp hour batteries, if you have lots to cut up get a quick charge battery charger unless you have all the Makita 18 volt range and have plenty of batteries, i would seriously recommend this for the professional or the homeowner for tidying up the gardenVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
