Medi Rub 2000
Seems nice at first and is very quiet. However, as time goes buy if used constantly, like it would be for neuropathy, it will start to make noise and get louder. The vibrator plate is made of plastic, and the eccentric bearing assembly on the end of the motor shaft is embedded in it. Over time the bearing will start to create heat which starts to melt the plastic. Poor choice of parts between the motor and the vibrator plate. I realize that if the vibrator plate was made of cast metal, it would cost more, but it would be worth it. I Googled Medi-Rub and it sees to be the best on the market and I bought a used foot massager on ebay and even though it looks pretty old I wanted to try it before paying full price... I will buy a new one soon because this company has been in business for a long time and I can tell mine has a lot of use and it still is nothing short of great... I think the age (from what I can tell) makes it a little noisier than it was new... plus I can just imagine how nice it would be to have a brand new one! Lauren D. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!!
The Medi-Rub foot massager that I purchased does not operate properly! I own one and wanted another so I purchased this one through eBay. When I received it and used it I was TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. It is so noisy and lacking vibration quality that I could not keep it. I ordered a new one to replace this one and through this one in the garbage. Worth every penny
We've bought one of these for over 15 years, at a home a garden show and have used it at least weekly. It is still running strong. Great after a long day of hiking. We both now have problems with numbing of the feet and it has done wonders. We have moved temporarily to the bush of Alaska and it is very expensive to ship things up here so this was left home in the lower 48. Of all the luxuries we left at home, we missed the the Medi-Rub the most. When we started losing feeling in our feet we looked on e-bay and found another. Made sure it was the Medi-Rub, there are other cheaply made imitations out there. Our feet have never felt better. It also vibrates your whole legs. Best purchase we've made up here. Foot pain??
I am on my feet all day for work. I suffer with plantar fasciitis and have an assortment of various shoes that are helpful but I still rotate the shoes to help my overall foot pain and therefore move the pain around.
